Dear guest, we will make every effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. This also means that you know exactly what services we provide and what obligations you have towards us. Please note that the terms and conditions are part of all contracts and that you accept them even without signing them.

1) Conclusion of the contract The contract is concluded as soon as the order for rooms and/or catering has been confirmed by the hotel to the customer. (Applies to verbal and written contracts)

2) Arrival and departure Unless otherwise agreed, the hotel will only make room capacities available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival; room capacities must be returned by 11:00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure. A late check-out until 13:00 will be charged with 20,00 EUR. In the event of late departure up to 18:00, the hotel is entitled to charge up to 80% of the room rate, thereafter up to 100%. Reserved rooms must be occupied by 6 p.m. on the day of arrival, or the hotel must be informed in writing or by telephone of a late arrival, otherwise the hotel may freely dispose of the reserved rooms. The person ordering an event must send the hotel a list of guest names at least 1 week before arrival.

3) Definitive number of participants F&B services The customer shall inform the hotel of the definitive number of participants 3 working days before the start of the event. This number of participants shall form the basis of the invoice.

a. Cancellation deadlines for hotel rooms for local corporate customers: Up to a maximum of 3 rooms can be canceled free of charge until 18:00 on the day before arrival. Cancellations after 6 p.m. and over 3 rooms on the day before arrival will be charged at 100% of the first three nights, unless the rooms can be re-let. For bookings of 10 hotel rooms or more, the above cancellation deadlines are extended by 3 days. In the case of bookings of 25 hotel rooms or more, the above-mentioned cancellation periods are extended by 7 days. For trade fairs, the respective current cancellation periods are included in the individual reservation confirmation.

b. Cancellation deadlines for hotel rooms and packages for event customers: The customer may cancel the booked services free of charge up to 42 days before the start of the event. Cancellations up to 14 days before the start of the event will be charged at 50% of the booked services. Cancellations up to 7 days before the start of the event will be charged at 70% of the booked services. Cancellations up to 3 days before the start of the event will be charged at 90% of the booked services. Cancellations received later will be charged at 100% of the booked services. In the case of bookings of 20 hotel rooms or more, the above cancellation deadlines are extended by 7 days.

5) No-Show / Cancellation Costs In the event of non-utilization of the ordered services, the customer is obliged to pay for the ordered services in the amount of: 100% for room bookings If the hotel has incurred additional costs, e.g. by commissioning subcontractors, these are to be reimbursed in full against receipt.

6) Payments All invoices issued by the hotel must be paid within 14 days of receipt without deductions. The hotel is entitled to agree an advance payment in order to process the services. If this advance payment is not received on time, the hotel may withdraw from the concluded contract.

7) Liability of the customer to the hotel The customer is jointly and severally liable to the hotel for all damage or claims caused directly or indirectly by him or his guests. The hotel shall be liable for items brought into the hotel in accordance with the provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB), unless the room or the container from which the items were stolen was unlocked. In any case, valuables require a deposit against receipt at the reception for liability.
7.) a. Special soiling
The hotel reserves the right to charge the guest for special soiling of the room such as vomiting, damage caused by the spilling of drinks or other liquids, soiling by pets or smoking in the room.
8.) Disclaimer of the hotel The hotel is entitled to commission any subcontractors to fulfill individual parts of the program in the area of supporting programs and transfers booked with the hotel by the customer. The hotel always acts in the name and on behalf of the customer, in the sense of an agent, and is not liable for the proper fulfillment of the services of the respective subcontractor. Should this result in any claims for damages on the part of the customer against a subcontractor, these must be reported directly to the subcontractor by the customer. The hotel’s invoicing of the customer and the customer’s obligation to pay remain unaffected by this.
9.) Miscellaneous The hotel reserves the right to withdraw from the contract if force majeure or industrial action makes fulfillment impossible, without this giving rise to claims for damages. Changes in the room allocation, the technology, the promised rooms or supporting programs are permissible insofar as this does not affect any essential interests of the customer. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply; the place of jurisdiction and place of performance shall be the registered office of the hotel. Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be invalid, this shall not affect the remaining provisions.
